After a sucessful first beer festival last year, Wendy and the team are putting on a second beer festival over the last weekend in July. Local Ales, guests, and ciders will be on offer. BBQ and live music on Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.

Pyecombe Golf Club are holding the inagural Sussex Pub Golf Challenge on Saturday 30th June from 1pm. They are inviting pubs to enter a team or teams for the event. The teams are of four players, playing in pairs. Better Ball Stableford scores from both pairs make the total score.
Handicaps are a requirement for the event, however if someone would like to play that doesn’t have a handicap they can either play off an 18 handicap or for a further £30 can play 3 rounds at Pyecombe Golf Club and they will allocate a handicap prior to the event.
This promises to be hugely enjoyable, with a chance to play at one of the county’s most picturesque courses, to ejoy some great food and drink, and pit yourselves against other pubs and clubs in the area.

Southwick Beer Festival
The ninth annual Southwick Beer Festival will take place at Southwick Community Centre on 25th, 26th and 27th May 2012 – see News page for further information. Hosted by Southwick Community Centre, the event helps raise money for the local registered charity of Southwick Community Association.
